The new Memorial Grove at the State Capitol Complex was dedicated on the 26th anniversary of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The grove is a stunning tribute to the victims, consisting of 168 trees - 19 crabapple trees in memory of the children lost, 14 Sawtooth Oaks for the military personnel lost, and 135 'Rising Sun' Redbud trees for the remaining victims. The base of the trees is adorned with over 10,000 native perennial plants, which will flower throughout the growing season, adding to the beauty of the grove. Located in Oklahoma City.
